How a multi-location rollout works

Most estates do not switch on 80 sites at once. The pattern that works is a small pilot, a look at real response volume, then a staged expansion with the templates the pilot proved.

  1. 1. Pilot two or three sites

Pick sites that differ from each other, not your three best. A busy flagship and a quiet suburban branch will tell you more about placement than three flagships will. Start from a survey template rather than writing questions from scratch.

  2. 2. Fix placement before you scale it

Response volume is driven more by where the code sits than by what the survey asks. Test table tents against receipts, or checkout against the fitting room, and settle the question at three sites instead of eighty. Our placement guide covers what tends to work by format.

  3. 3. Standardize the question set

Cross-location comparison only means something when every site asks the same questions in the same order. Lock a core set, usually a Net Promoter Score question plus two or three drivers, and let sites add at most one local question of their own.

  4. 4. Wire the data into what your team already reads

Feedback that lives in a separate dashboard gets checked for a month and then forgotten. Use webhooks and the REST API documented in our developer docs to push responses into the warehouse, CRM, or alerting channel your operators already open every morning.

  5. 5. Expand in waves, and watch the outliers

Roll out by region or by format. The value of per-location analytics is not the average, it is the site that sits two standard deviations below it and the reason why.

Enterprise questions, answered

What counts as a location?
A location is one physical site with its own QR codes and its own analytics view: a single restaurant, store, campus building, or branch. Enterprise Starter covers up to 25 locations, Growth up to 100, and Plus is unlimited.
How is Enterprise different from the Pro plan?
Pro is built for one team or one site. Enterprise adds centralized multi-location management, per-location analytics and cross-location comparison, white-label branding on QR codes and survey pages, REST API access, and a support SLA. Pro is $19 a month; Enterprise Starter is $299 a month.
Can we white-label the survey pages our customers see?
Yes. On every Enterprise tier you can apply your own logo, colors, and branding to QR codes and to the survey pages participants land on. Enterprise Plus adds full white-label, so PollQR branding is removed entirely.
Do you offer an API?
Yes. REST API access is included from Enterprise Growth upward, and webhooks are available so survey responses can flow into your data warehouse, CRM, or alerting system as they arrive. The developer documentation is public at pollqr.com/developers.
What response time does the support SLA guarantee?
Enterprise Growth and Enterprise Plus include a 4-hour response SLA during business hours, with direct access to technical specialists rather than a general queue. Enterprise Plus also assigns a named account manager.
Can we roll out to a few locations before committing to all of them?
Yes. Most multi-location rollouts start with a pilot at two or three sites, compare the response volume against the rest of the estate, then expand. Contact sales and we will set the pilot up on the tier that matches the final footprint, not the pilot size.
Who owns the response data?
You do. Responses belong to your organization, and you can export everything as CSV or JSON at any time. Nothing is locked in the platform.
Do participants need an app?
No. Participants scan a QR code and the survey opens in their phone browser. There is no download, no account, and no login, which is the main reason in-person response rates hold up.
